MYTH #1 - SOLAR IS TOO EXPENSIVE

Going solar can cost as little as $0 down while still saving you lots of money on electricity bills!

Solar rebates and significant decreases in the cost of solar panels in the last 10 years have created lower pricing, and more attractive solar financing programs put solar in more home's budgets.

MYTH #2 - SOLAR PANEL PRICES WILL CONTINUE TO FALL

Although solar panel prices have been falling in recent years, the Department of Commerce has determined that certain crystalline silicon photovoltaic products from China and Taiwan have been flooding the U.S. market and will be subject to tariffs ranging from 26.33% to 58.87%.

That coupled with escalating electric rates, would indicate that you will save more money by purchasing your solar system sooner rather than later.

MYTH #3 - SOLAR WILL IMPACT YOUR HOME'S RESALE VALUE

A study published in 2011 by the National Bureau of Economic Research shows that solar PV systems increase the value of homes.

The researchers looked at homes located in San Diego and Sacramento, and found that since 2003, solar energy systems were associated with an average 3.5% increase in resale value.
